ساهم برنامج قانون الشارع في تعزيز الديمقراطية وتسريع وتيره التحول الديمقراطي في دولة جنوب إفريقيا لقدرته على التغلغل إلى القاعدة العريضة من أفراد المجتمع ونشر الوعي القانوني فيما بينهم، لهذا كان من الجدير بالاهتمام القيام بتحليل برنامج قانون الشارع في دولة جنوب إفريقيا، من واقع مؤلف "قانون الشارع: الديمقراطية للجميع" وهو الإصدار القانوني الأخير للبرنامج، وفقا للمعايير المنصوص عليها بمؤشر مجلة الإيكونوميست لقياس الديمقراطية، لمعرفة مدى توافق مفردات هذا المؤلف مع تلك المعايير. تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى إلقاء الضوء على دور برنامج قانون الشارع في نجاح التجربة الديمقراطية بدولة جنوب إفريقيا، وعلى توافق الإصدار الأخير لهذا البرنامج في دولة جنوب إفريقيا - وهو مؤلف "قانون الشارع: الديمقراطية للجميع"- مع معايير مؤشر الإيكونوميست لقياس الديمقراطية، مما يفسح المجال لاعتباره نموذج يحتذى به من قبل سائر الدول التي ترغب في تعزيز الديمقراطية لديها. باستخدام المنهجية الوصفية والتحليلية المقارنة نتناول دراسة دور برنامج قانون الشارع في التحول الديمقراطي بدولة جنوب إفريقيا، ومدى فعالية الإصدار الأخير لمؤلف برنامج قانون الشارع في دولة جنوب إفريقيا، والذي يحمل عنوان: " قانون الشارع: الديمقراطية للجميع" والصادر في 2017، في ضوء مؤشر الإيكونوميست لقياس الديمقراطية. تؤدي النتائج إلى الاستفادة من تجربة دولة جنوب أفريقيا في تطبيق برنامج قانون الشارع مستقبلا من قبل الدول التي تسعي للنهوض بمجتمعاتها نحو الديمقراطية.
The Street Law Program contributed to promote democracy and accelerate the democratic transition in South Africa due to its ability to penetrate into the broad base of society members and spread legal awareness among them. Therefore, it was worthwhile to analyze the street law program in the state of South Africa, through the titled book: "Street Law: Democracy for All ", as the latest legal version of the program, according to the Economist Democracy Index criteria, to determine the extent to which this book’s vocabulary matches those criteria. The aim of this research is to shed light on the role of the Street Law program in the success of South Africa's democratic experience, and the compatibility of the latest edition of this program in South Africa - the book: “Street Law: Democracy for All” - with the criteria of the Economist's Index for measuring democracy, thus allowing it to be seen as a role model by other countries wishing to promote their democracy. By using descriptive and comparative analytical methodology, the role of the Street Law Program in the democratization of South Africa, and the effectiveness of the latest edition of the South African Street Law Program, entitled: "Street Law: Democracy for All", released in 2017 will be studied in light of the Economist's Index for Measuring Democracy. The results lead to benefiting from South Africa's experience in the future implementation of the Street Law Program by countries seeking to advance their communities towards democracy.
